Thanks to Cameron for a street view of the future George Street (Sydney, Australia) retail store, which is hidden behind a complete building façade renovation. His photo shows a construction lift, scaffolding and black netting over all 10 floors of the building at the end of the block, and with nothing “Apple” visible…yet.

I live in Sydney and I strongly believe Apple has chosen an excellent location. Not only is it on the extremely busy George St, but it is also at the junction of the CBD (Central Business District), Pitt Street (Shopping) Mall and the QVB (Queen Victoria Building).
I know that Apple won’t be able to make it look as good as its Fifth Avenue location (due the Sydney location being an office block) but I’m sure Steve will have some input!
It is quite close to Authorised Resellers too. One block to be exact from the nearest one! Please use a lot of glass Steve…
