London iPod-Only Store Closes

April 9, 2007

The iPod-only popXpress store in downtown London (UK) has closed, apparently because it was losing money. The store’s Web site claims the store is simply moving, but don’t expect it to re-open anywhere. The store opened in February 2006, about a 10-minute walk from Apple’s Regent Street store.

Maybe they just had to mush radiation from Itsu next door. The place was tiny, and you walk in and there sittin on a laptop and don’t even acknowledge you. Great Idea just missing a few pieces of the puzzle.
