Houston Store Remodel Set

February 27, 2007

The Houston Galleria (Tex.) store will be closed completely from March 5th to 9th while workers construct a mini-store within the space, prior to a major renovation. Typically the theaters and any wood flooring are removed, the Genius Bar is moved to the rear of the store, and iPod or Studio Bars are installed. The renovated store should open in May.

glad to hear it! Galleria has been my least favorite of Houston’s due to the high traffic of people and extremely small space to work in. Hopefully, it will now be a more practical store in its aspects of how it uses its space.

I totally agree.. hopefully the iPod bar will make the pressure on the genius bar a little less. I HATE having to wait in line for an hour and a half to get my PowerBook looked at.
