Demolition has begun at the site of the future Boylston Street (Boston, Mass.) store, with a yellow backhoe tearing away at the back of the two-story, red-brick building starting about 7 a.m. Parts of the building quickly collapsed as the excavator clawed into the structure, and then the debris was hauled away. Check the once-a-minute Webcam. Also check the first day album here, or watch the first day time-lapse video.

Is there a way to save ALL these pictures and make a timelapse from demolition-opening, or would holding onto each of these frames be WAY to taxing on HDD space? I mean it’s not like the webcam is doing video, so it sounds easy enough to do. [ifo-An archive of photos is being generated and will eventually be posted.]
