Thanks to Ryan for the video of Saturday’s Kahala Mall (Honolulu) store grand opening. The first person arrived outisde the mall at 3 a.m., and when the group finally got inside, they saw that the store is the V2.0, all stainless steel model with a completely open storefront. The store has a rear Genius Bar, but no Studio Bar. It also has no cashwrap position, but instead depends upon the handheld computers and Genius Bar for transactions. The grand opening began with a Hawaiian ceremony, all the employees wore leis, and the waiting line to get into the store was long. Check the photos that have been posted by Ryan, Mark and Jeff.
