We'd love to get an Apple Store in Melbourne, but they're talking about tearing down a very well-known historic building, so it's going to be controversial -- and some of that might rub off on Apple. Seems he is just looking to generate publicity for his development. As far as I can tell, major flagship stores are located in city centres and not (inner) suburbs.
