Store Expansion Planned

December 14, 2006

Florida is one of the hottest Apple retail states, with 10 existing stores, four more planned in the coming year, and now the expansion of an existing store. Tape measures have been active at the Town Center mall in Boca Raton, where the current 30-foot wide store is jammed with customers. Fortunately, a wider space is available just up the hallway, and Apple plans to move the store some time in 2007.

They should do something about the Aventura and Millenia stores. Both are pathetic, the store at the Falls is much better than the others. They are to small and appear to not have as much stock of software and accessories.

International Mall store in Tampa is great! It was one of the first opened in 2001 and still has the presentation theater in the back.

The Millenia Mall is the best (I go there every year when I’m in Florida). It has your Louis Vuitton (wife’s favourite) and mine…..APPLE!

I just heard today that the Apple Store Millenia in Orlando is closing in January for a remodel. So it looks like you are going to get your wish.
