If you want to purchase Apple’s extended warranty AppleCare service while at one of their retail stores, you simply ask a MacSpecialist. But if you visit an authorized reseller, they may have another technique for promoting AppleCare–a plastic hanger card with a pitch on one side, and an explanation on the other. “Peace of mind for your Mac,” the front says. If you pluck one of the thick plastic cards off the hanger, the reverse explains the extensions the service provides for global repairs and telephone technical support.

GLobal Service yes… But no longer do they pick up your laptop. Depot service was a big pain for Apple.
