I know it’s terrible and vastly illegal, but something about seeing that acrylic apple logo just sitting there in the sun makes me REALLY want to just drive out there and pop it in the back of my pickup truck (if I had one). Besides being illegal and immoral, I bet that thing weighs like 100 pounds as well. Still, I’d be the only person to have a giant apple logo in my house, until the police found out and I’d be busted.
The material used for the large-sized Apple logos (outdoor stores with stainless steel) is Acrylite GP, the sheet from which the logo is cut costs about $2,500, and the final logo weighs about 160 pounds. Lift with the knees!
So when is this store going to open ?? The shopping center is scheduled to open next week (Nov. 1). Will the Apple store open then too ?? When will they announce their opening ? anyone know anything ??
Its official, Apple announced today that the Albuquerque Uptown store will open November 1 at 1000.
