The Apple reseller scene in Scotland is rapidly changing as one store has closed and two others are making the transition to Apple’s new “Premium Reseller” status. You’ll recall that Apple has recalled the “Apple Centre” terminology, replacing it with the Premium Reseller designation. Meanwhile, the Scotsys Apple Centre on Great Western Road in Glasgow has closed after an inventory sell-off, and is receiving a face-lift prior to its grand re-opening October 21st as the city’s first Premium Reseller [photos]. The Scotsys Apple Centre on Nicolson Street in Edinburgh is scheduled to close down at the end of October for a similar retro-fit to a Premium Reseller store.
