The just-opened Arndale (UK) store features identical,, re-designed interior that debuted last weekend at the Columbia (Md.) and Providence (RI) stores: stainless steel walls, center-located display tables, back-lit wall graphics, trio of bars, etc. However, this store dispenses with the front window glass of those stores, and has an entirely open entrance. Interestingly, Apple did not use the available second level like adjacent stores, as shown here. Nik posted the first photos of the grand opening showing the interior of the store. The World of Apple Web site has posted an even larger collection of photos showing the distinctive interior redesign, taken before the store was opened. And Nathan has also posted a collection of photos.

Wasnt this the rumored two story apple store in the mall? what happened? did they leave the upstairs for employes only where are the pictures… cause thats a low ceiling and high apple front wall.
I’m in two of those photo’s from World of Apple :-) well my hand is in 1 of them, but the 4th row down, 2nd from the left, thats me with the brown hoodie on facing away from the camera. Dammit, I wish I wasn’t that camera shy :-( oh well, at least the back of my head is famous now :-) I was waiting inline right in front of the guy taking the photos :-)
