Three years after starting this Web site, I’ve learned more about Apple’s retail stores than I ever imagined. I’ve also learned more about Web hosting, servers and software than I ever thought I’d have to! The evolution of the site has been pretty dramatic, and today it takes one more small step by offering the ability for visitors to enter comments on news items. For the moment, I’ll be moderating all comments just to sweep out spam, lunatics and off-topics remarks. Also, only older items on the front page are available for comments–don’t go back and try to editorialize over the past three years! Otherwise, just like the IFO forum, go nuts. Update: I’ve also added a list of related posts to the single-view of news items. Just click on an item’s headline to display the single-view and related list.

Thank you for setting us free! We’re free! I’m excited that we can now comment on your stories! Keep up the great work.
Thanks for keeping us up to date on the apple store news and events! I was an early fan of the stores, having been to some 15 openings by 2003 but had to drop out after my wife took a job with Apple.
Thanks again for the great site and the great newsgathering.

Hey…Awesome site, I love it! I’ve been to four openings because of your updates :) However, I wanted to ask you something. I went to the fifth avenue opening and I was number 93 in line. I know because of that one guy who was handing out those Mickey Mouse numbers, you probably know but I never got my lapel pin :( You probably stopped handing them out because of all the ridiculous rain.
Oh well, just had to mention that. Thanks for all of your hardwork and continuous updates.
Thanks so much for finially putting comments… and this site is so amazing and useful and interesting about apple retail stores… keep up the good work
Thanks for doing everyhing you do to to make us mac-heads happy!

Thanks for adding comments. The forums are often pretty quiet compared to the front pages, so this gives people an easier way of adding new details about store openings and developments.
Always loved this site, comments just make it better.
I can’t thank you enough for keeping on this stuff.
