You may now that Apple maintains Executive Briefing Centers in various cities around the world, including London, Paris and Cupertino. They’re invitation-only facilities to showcase Apple’s products and services. Now a photo [#2] has been posted of the interior of the Paris center, which mimics the furniture, walls and interior design of Apple’s retail stores. Even the carpet appears to match the blue-gray color of the stone flooring used in the stores. An actual Paris store is planned for 2007, probably not far from the briefing center on Place d’Iéna.

The major French Mac news sites are pretty sure that Apple has abandoned all plans for a Paris Apple Store in the near feature. It seems that Apple now will open a ’store-in-store’ concept, including a Genius Bar, in the FNAC Digitale at the Boulevard Saint-Germain in Paris. It was supposed to be opening on Nov. 14th, but it has been postponed.
