“Nous somme ravis d’ouvrir notre boutique Apple Store au Québec,” says an e-mail announcing the grand opening of the Carrefour Laval store this Saturday in the French-speaking city of Laval, a suburb of Montreal (Canada). The first 1,000 visitors, “recevront un T-shirt Apple,” the announcement notes, and there is also a contest prize worth C$3,007.85 (~$2,707). You’ll notice that the store’s Web page is also posted in French, which is used by up to 90% of residents in the region.
