New Podiums Appear at New Store

Unique new stainless steel, lighted podiums have appeared at the just-opened Eaton Centre (Toronto) retail store, spotlighting a laptop and the iPod Hi-Fi. There are two of the cylindrical podiums topped with lighted white plastic at the front of the store greeting visitors as they enter. The Macsupport.ca Web site has photos of today’s Eaton Centre (Toronto) store grand opening, and Ender78 has posted a huge gallery of grand opening photos. Out west, the MileHiMac site has photos of the Flatiron (Colo.) store opening. The store appears to follow the new standard format, with a combined Genius/Studio Bar and rear cashwrap. Employees at both stores were wearing the new dark-green T-shirts introduced earlier this week.
