Costco Store Display Is Lame

The last remaining stock of Apple’s Mac mini G4 1.42 MHz is being dumped at Costco’s 473 stores, but it’s certainly not with the same dignity they have receive at Apple’s own stores, or even resellers. At one Costco branch, a lone Mac mini sat secured to a portable table, hooked to a Samsung LCD television. There was no visible stock of the computers, although a nearby electronics employee would grab one for you from the lock-up. The only good news: The $699.99 includes AppleCare extended warranty service, wireless keyboard and mouse. [see related]
