Attention Robin Hood: A Store Near You?

A retail analysis of additional UK cities reveals that the mid-island city of Nottingham is a perfect candidate for a future Apple store. Shoppers in the metro area of 600,000 resident spend more than in Birmingham, where Apple already has a store. It’s also the second-fastest growing area after Glasgow, another real Apple store possibility, and is home to two major universities. At the same time, mall developer Westfield Group has received approval to more than double the size of its Broadmarsh mall, while the Victoria Centre mall is also scheduled for an expansion. And another retail development is available just off the main fashion street of Bridlesmith Gate for a street-level Apple store, appropriately named…The Pod.
