Olympic Games City to Have Apple Centre

January 31, 2006

The Apple reseller Mac@Work is working furiously to finish the Torino (Italy) branch of its Apple Center in time for the XX Olympic Winter Games. Store staffer Aldo has shaved an Apple logo into the back of his head, while furniture, wood flooring and other fixtures are being installed. The store’s clever home page says, “The Olympic flame arrives. The Apple spirit arrives. Mac@Work opens.” The Games, which open Feb. 10th for two weeks, attract about 5,000 competitors and officials, as well as 10,000 members of the media and 1 million spectators.
