Store Manager Comments on Sales

Chandler Fashion Center store manager Mark Henderson told an Arizona Republic newspaper reporter the store had twice as many shoppers the week after Thanksgiving compared to the same week of 2004. In the story Henderson said he’s seen “a surprisingly strong shopping season early on,” starting on Black Friday. “Sometimes, people use Thanksgiving weekend to get an idea of what they want to buy. This year, they were buying.”
