Just one year after taking the job, Retail segment vice-president and COO Bridget Ryan Berman has resigned under amicable conditions. As I reported last year, Ms. Ryan Berman was a 12-year veteran of Polo Ralph Lauren Corp., serving as president of their retail group before taking the Apple job. She had been working from the east coast, and had just been awarded the 2005 Distinguished Alumna award by Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business.
