Retail stores in the U.S. opened one hour early to sell products just announced at the Mac Expo—but anxious crowds were met by managers who said there were no iPod shuffles. In fact, the stores I visited had wait lists, which angered several who had arrived early. There were adequate supplies of Mac mini computers, in both 40 Gb and 80 Gb sizes. Supplies of iLife ‘05 and iWork were also adequate, and were selling regularly, if not briskly.
