Mac Expo — The Union Square (SF) store was the first to display the new iPod Shuffle, since they were just two blocks from the Mac Expo where the devices were introduced by Steve Jobs during today’s keynote. The Shuffles were displayed in the "music" section, on a table, and set into a notch in a block of clear plastic, with lime-green paper behind it. The devices weren’t secured to anything, so an Apple staffer stood at the end of the table to keep track of the products. The Shuffles were also displayed on the backside of the front display windows: about five were hung from a clear plastic, horizontal rod at each location. Two more Apple staffers watched these devices, since they also weren’t secured. Expect lime-green to be a popular color.
