Two Stores Opening on a Thursday

You’ll notice that both the newly-renovated Alderwood Mall (Wash.) and the new Victoria Gardens (S. Calif.) malls will hold their grand openings on a Thursday, and that both Apple stores are scheduled to open on the same day–an odd day for Apple, but a common day for mall grand openings to help create a four-day shopping “holiday,” I’m told.
