Thanks to everyone who pointed out two gaping holes in my mini-store coverage: What color was the carpet Apple removed from the mini-stores, and what flooring was left? Well, when you take out carpet, you’re left with… whatever is underneath. In this case, it’s the concrete floor. And judging from the work being performed, it will be covered with an epoxy finish to provide a matching clean, white finish to the translucent ceiling. As for the former carpet color, the proper eBay search term would be “blue.”
