My trip to Japan somehow dislodged an avalanche of tips and information from around the globe. First, it appears that Apple continues on a very fast track for the remaining 18 stores it has pledged to open by the end of 2004. Besides all the stores slated for a Sept. 25th grand opening, a tipster says the St. Louis Galleria store–job listings posted on Aug. 15th–will be ready for occupation, if not a grand opening, by the end of October. That’s barely three months.
