MacNewsNetwork pointed to a story in "The Straits Times" of Singapore that Pacific Plaza in that city will host an 11,000 square-foot Apple Centre, which typically resemble company-owned retail stores, but are owned by independent resellers. The story notes there are two other, smaller Apple centres in the city, and that the store will be operated by a third party, "because apple Computer does not operate retail outlets on its own outside the US." I hope they don’t find out about the Ginza store!
