Some people like SoHo (NYC), others like Greenwich Village, but I’ve always been an Upper West Side kinda guy, where chef Thomas Valenti cooks up a mean meatloaf at the trendy Ouest restaurant. So after a night at Lincoln Center, I head up to Ouest for a late dinner, amid occasional celebs like President Bill Clinton. Tonight, the waiter was unusually quiet until I whipped out my Powerbook during desert to jot down some notes. Suddenly, he became talkative about iChat AV, and iLife, and said some Apple execs had been through earlier for dinner. He then pointed out the window to… the next Apple retail store location at 84th St. and Broadway. That will make three for Manhattan!
