SF Store Construction Update

January 7, 2004

I toured the MacWorld Expo floor yesterday, handled an iPod mini and checked out the features of iLife ’04. There were lots of other new products at the show, which you can find out about at several sites [MacInTouch, MacNN]. But the show also gave me an excuse to check out construction progress on the One Stockton (SF) retail store. There are no windows on the second level, there will be two back-lit Apple logos, the Ellis St. siding will apparently be stone, and some mysterious materials in creates stenciled with “Made in Japan” were being craned onto the roof as I watched. Oh, and the store manager’s job is still open…Steve Cano, are you available?
