Shots Fired!

3:05PM - TSP employees were startled today by the distinct sound of gunfire - and we looked back at the Apple Store to find puffs of smoke drifting away from the construction site.

It looks like they are using something that sounds like shotgun rounds for underground work. Two were fired today and apparently our staff heard three shots yesterday. We're not talking about .22s that are sometimes used for nail guns. This was some serious caliber stuff.

We'll report more as we find out more. Let's just hope that they don't leave any of those lying around the construction site.

Either they are using blasting caps for some foundation work, or they could be using ground penetrating sonar to measure the ground density. You need to watch the 3rd Jurassic Park movie--good dramatization of GPSonar in the Montana dino dig scene.

Sonar would have been my first thought as well...
