Apple enthusiasts in the suburbs across the river from Montreal (Canada) will no longer have to visit the big city for official sales and service, after a store opens in the Quartier DIX30 mall in the city of Brossard by year’s end. The city is across the St. Lawrence River from Montreal, where the Main Street-style mall is still gathering tenants. Tipsters and a job listing confirm the future store along Boulevard Leduc within the mall, in an 8,400 square-foot space that hasn’t been specifically identified. The metro Montreal area now has three Apple stores for its 3.8 million residents, in line with coverage for other Canada cities.

Strange I was expecting it at Promenade st-bruno a little more east … Moslty all store are more on the west side of Montreal with none near the east side.
Or even Dix30 in Brossard, QC.
Nothing is confirmed for the location yet… it will either be Mail Champlain or Quartier DIX30. The chances are about 75% for Mail Champlain and 25% DIX30 due to many factors but mostly ease of access by car or public transit and type of location.
The Carrefour Laval store is also getting a revamp. The temp store is opening soon right next to Zara (where Jacob used to be) to let the construction people make a bigger Apple Store (RW&CO next to the store is gone).
