Rumors of a future store in Sweden were confirmed yesterday when sharp-eyed Apple enthusiasts in the country noticed a full range of retail job listings posted on the company’s Web site. As reported by the Allt om Mac Web site, the location of the future store is still in question, but is believed to be somewhere in Stockholm’s city center. The store would be the company’s first in Scandinavia, and would expand the chain to 13 countries. Apple’s Sweden Web page for job positions includes the usual leader, manager, back-of-house, Red Zone and Family Room positions. “Remember that we are always on the lookout for people who we can train to help our customers,” the Web page says, “so many of our retail jobs do not require retail experience.” The description of the Specialist position transcends the language: “You’re in charge of the customer experience of the Apple Store. You make a difference in people’s lives through meaningful dialogue about the coolest products.” The store could open by this September.
