August 8, 2011

Information about the grand opening of the I Gigli (Florence, Italy) retail store has been trickling out for the past few days, and now the store’s Web page confirms a grand opening this Saturday. The store will be the sixth in Italy, and provide the first store in the middle of the country. Over the weekend the iPhone Apple store app hinted at the store’s opening, as spotted by SetteB.IT, The company’s retail Web page changed on Monday to include a listing for the store, and the full Web page appeared later in the day. Last month Apple said it would open 30 more stores before September 30th, leaving 26 more grand openings after this weekend’s two events. The store will open at 9 a.m. inside the large shopping mall north of city center.
