Overnight Line Forms for Frankfurt Store

January 23, 2010

A group of about 30 Apple store enthusiasts braved 6°F. overnight temperatures to establish their place in line for the Große Bockenheimer Straße (Frankfurt) retail store, which opens this morning at 11 a.m. In the darkness, workers gave the store its last cleaning and polishing, and erected bicycle fencing in front of the store to control the expected large crowd. The compact, two-level store features a spiral glass staircase at the very back of the space, and the other traditional interior design features. Surf the MacErkopf.de Web site for on-going grand opening coverage, including photos and video. Great turnout. Is this the most picture and video posts that we have ever had?
And still no photos of the moved stores in Mission Viejo and Roosevelt Field?
